New Eduniveral rankings put NMMU Business School in the top 3% in the world

3 PalmesPort Elizabeth, 8 November 2012 - The Eduniversal global rankings of the top 1000 business schools were published and NMMU Business School climbed another notch, surpassing UNISA to be ranked in sixth position in South Africa.

“A ranking of sixth position in South Africa may seem like a modest accomplishment until the ranking is placed in context. South Africa was the second country to launch graduate business schools, and the country’s business schools are among the best in the world,” commented Prof Steve Burgess, NMMU Business School Director.

“Our ‘3 Palmes’ ranking recognises us as an ‘Excellent Business School’ globally, ranking us 383rd in the world out of more than 13,000 graduate business schools. In only our 8th year, we are now ranked among the top 3% of business schools in the world,” Prof Burgess concluded.
